Privacy Policy

Oxford Intelligence Limited operates OI MESH and is responsible for personal information used by its app and account service. Contact privacy@oimesh.ai about privacy and data rights, or support@oimesh.ai for service support.

We process your email, account identifier, authentication information, display name, optional profile image, OI Handle and language preference. Messaging data includes participants, private groups, messages, attachments you choose to send, reactions, read states, preferences, connection requests, blocks and reports. Images, documents or audio are processed when you use the corresponding feature. We do not require uploading your phone address book.

Session and device identifiers, notification registration information where available, network and security logs and operational errors help us authenticate accounts, deliver the service, prevent abuse and investigate failures. Your device also stores app and session data. Camera, photo and microphone permissions are requested for the feature you choose and can be managed in device settings.

We use information to provide the service you request, for legitimate interests in security, abuse prevention and reliability, and to comply with legal obligations. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Optional device permissions and connections to other products remain under your control.

Your chosen participants receive content you send. Other users may see profile information needed to identify you, subject to discovery settings. Providers including Supabase for account and data infrastructure, and Expo or platform notification services for enabled functions, process information needed to operate those functions. Authorised personnel may access relevant information for support, safety or legal requirements. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising tracking.

The account and database project is hosted in the United Kingdom. Infrastructure, delivery and support providers may process information in other countries. Where required, transfers use applicable adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards; contact us for details. We use access controls and encrypted transport. The current service is not represented as end-to-end encrypted. Connecting another Oxford Intelligence product requires its own permissions; installing this app does not automatically give all group products access to your conversations.

Information is retained while needed to provide your account and address support, safety, legal or dispute requirements. Request account deletion through oimesh.ai/delete-account or contact privacy@oimesh.ai. We verify and process requests; deletion is not promised to be instantaneous. Necessary legal or security records may remain, recipients may retain copies, and backup copies expire through the provider’s backup cycle. We explain relevant exceptions when handling a request.

Manage exact-Handle discovery, connection requests, blocks and device permissions. You may request access, correction, export, deletion, restriction or objection where applicable. Contact privacy@oimesh.ai; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or your local data protection authority.

OI MESH is intended for people aged 13 or older, or the higher age required by local law or the applicable store. It is not a children’s service. Contact us if a child below the applicable age has provided personal information. We identify policy changes using the effective date on this page.
